Craft: Knitting
This striped sweater featuring a ribbed yoke is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning at the neckline. The crew neck is initially worked back and forth in rows, establishing the stitches for the back, the front, and the accentuated shoulder lines. As work progresses, increases on both sides of the shoulder lines shape the sloping shoulders and determine the final width of the front and back, while subsequent increases within the shoulder lines form the sleeve caps. The neckband is knitted on later.
