Lopi Einband 0151 Black Heather

Einband is a single-ply, lace weight yarn that is ideal for warm, fine gauge sweaters & accessories.  Spun with 100% Icelandic wool, the yarn is incredibly durable.  Beautiful knit alone, the yarn may also be held double for a thicker gauge or held with another yarn to achieve gauge & add warmth.  Einband is ideal for cables, textured stitches & stranded colorwork. 

Spun from 100% Icelandic wool, Lopi creates hand knitting yarns that possess outstanding breathability & thermal insulation.  For over 1,000 years, sheep in Iceland have been roaming the sub-arctic climate.  Their adaption to the climate has given their wool a distinctive character.  The fleece is a combination of inner & outer fibers with the inner fibers being soft & insulating, while the outer fibers are long, durable & weather resistant.  Together the fibers create a yarn that is warm & durable.
