Our feature pattern this week is the Sunset Stroll Snood. This colorful cowl is knit with color-changing Sirdar Jewelspun. The velvety soft worsted/aran weight yarn transitions from hue to hue as you knit. Each ball has 546 yards for great project continuity.
Spun with 100% acrylic fibers, Jewelspun is a nice alternative for those with other fiber sensitivities. The yarn is also easy to care for, as it is machine washable, making it a great choice for gifts, throws & children’s garments.
The Sunset Stroll Snood is an enjoyable & satisfying project. The cowl is knit flat in soothing garter stitch, so it is perfect for all levels of knitter. There is a simple seam to finish creating the infinity style. It is a longer cowl, so it may be worn with a single or double wrap (as worn in photo).
